Philip Lee

President & CEO

Mr. Lee is President and Chief Executive Officer of the company and serves as a member of PHT's Board of Directors. He has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry with nearly a decade devoted to serving the clinical research community. Phil served as President and CEO of Clinsoft (formerly known as Domain Pharma Corporation) where he helped the company achieve market dominance in clinical data management systems and adverse event reporting systems. Under Mr. Lee's leadership, the company doubled its revenues, achieved profitability and launched its electronic data capture (EDC) solution to the market. Most recently, Mr. Lee served as President of eXcelon Corporation (EXLN), a publicly held company with revenues of $70M per annum. EXcelon was one of the leaders in XML database market, the XML/XSL IDE (Integrated Development Environment) market and the Object Oriented Database market. Mr. Lee has also held senior level positions at Oracle Corporation, Interleaf Inc. and BBN Software Products (Bolt Beranek and Neuman). Mr. Lee holds a BS and Masters of Engineering Degree in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

John Arcari

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Arcari has 25 years of successful experience in finance. His broad areas of expertise include public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, international operations, and successful enterprise system implementations. At PHT he develops strategies to improve PHT’s profitability and operating margins, and oversees finance, HR, legal and other key functions. Mr. Arcari has a track record of providing sound financial planning and execution capabilities to rapidly growing technology and life sciences corporations. Previously he was a CFO consultant with Tatum, LLC, the fastest-growing executive financial services and consulting firm in the US. Prior to Tatum, he was CFO at CRF Inc, a provider of electronic patient diaries; Organogenesis, the publicly held world leader in tissue engineering; and LTX Corporation, a publicly held provider of semiconductor capital equipment. Mr. Arcari received his MBA in Finance, and BS in Accounting from New Mexico State University. His memberships include the American Institute of CPAs, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, The Financial Executives Institute, and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Stephen Raymond, PhD

Founder, Chief Scientific and Quality Officer

Dr. Raymond co-founded PHT Corp. in 1994 with the goal of improving clinical research by obtaining better information from the human subjects of clinical trials. Dr. Raymond holds a number of patents and serves PHT in a multitude of capacities, including chief visionary, product design, leader of PHT's innovation team, and liaison for academic medicine. He is responsible for providing PHT the scientific, regulatory, quality and information management expertise needed to achieve its vision of transforming clinical research through innovative technology. Dr. Raymond is a scientist in neurophysiology and anesthesia with academic and commercial experience in electrical engineering. He was formerly a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dr. Raymond holds a BS in physiology from Stanford University and a PhD in biology with a specialization in Neurophysiology from MIT.

Lisa Anne Markel

Vice President - Technical Operations

Ms. Markel has more than 35 years of experience in clinical research, with more than a decade in direct data capture from biomedical devices. She brings to PHT significant experience in the pharmaceutical development world, as well as a strong sense of commitment to customer satisfaction. Prior to joining PHT, Ms. Markel served as the global head of clinical data management for Covance Inc., leading an international staff of 250+ members with revenues of $35M per annum. Previous to this role she served as a global head for clinical operations of a client project group while concurrently serving as the administrative head of the Covance Nashville location. Prior to Covance, Ms. Markel held positions at Cato Research Ltd. in the areas of clinical research and data management. She served as a Principal Biomedical Engineer for a division of ABB where she was responsible for directing the design and implementation of biomedical systems for the acquisition and processing of human cardio-pulmonary function data. Throughout her 30-year career Ms. Markel has earned numerous professional and technology achievement awards. Ms. Markel holds BSE and MS degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.

Sheila Rocchio

Vice President - Marketing

Ms. Rocchio joined PHT in 2000. During her seven year tenure at PHT she has held a variety of roles in Marketing including Product Manager and Marketing Director. She has expanded the global Marketing function to include specialists in communication, public relations, strategy and product management. Ms. Rocchio is responsible for ensuring PHT continues to lead the ePRO industry by delivering high value ePRO products that delight trial sponsors and provide an excellent end user experience to sites and subjects. Prior to PHT, she held roles in product and project management at MicroStrategy and was a consultant for American Management Systems. Ms. Rocchio received a Bachelor of Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Boston College.

Nick Randazzo

Vice President – Sales

Mr. Randazzo has more than 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He joined PHT in 2000 and was the company's leading account executive for several years helping to double revenues and develop flagship accounts. In 2005, Mr. Randazzo was promoted to Director of Sales to support the expansion of the sales team and rapidly became the leader of the entire global sales organization. As Vice President of Sales at PHT he is responsible for managing the company's worldwide sales function and using his in-depth knowledge of clinical development organizations, electronic patient reported outcomes and the sales discipline to develop new business strategies and long-term customer relationships. Prior to joining PHT, Mr. Randazzo was a top performer in sales positions at Wyeth and CR Bard. Mr. Randazzo holds a BA from the University of Connecticut.

Valdo Arnera, MD

General Manager - Europe

Dr. Arnera joined PHT Corporation in 2000, and founded the company's European affiliate in January, 2001. During his more than 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he has held positions ranging from Clinical Research Physician to Vice President of Medical Affairs. Skilled in both science and management, Dr. Arnera currently serves as the General Manager of PHT's European operations, where he is responsible for expanding PHT's market-leading ePRO solutions into new geographies. He is also an active co-chair of the DIA's Special Interest Area Communities (SIAC) eClinical and Standards committee. Prior to joining PHT, Dr. Arnera founded the first European Central Clinical Laboratory to clinical trials, SciCor (now Covance Central Laboratory), and practiced medicine in various positions. Dr. Arnera received his French State Doctor's Degree in Medicine from the University of Clermont-Ferrand I.

Dwight Cooper

Vice President, Client Services

Mr. Cooper joined PHT in 2001 as Director of Engineering and recently served as PHT's Global Director of Technical Services. As the Vice President of Client Services, Mr. Cooper is responsible for managing PHT's customer relationships including all aspects of project delivery, monitoring and support. Mr. Cooper has more than 15 years of experience providing leadership to delivery teams developing applications for the pharmaceutical industry, and 20 years of experience designing and developing commercial software applications. In his roles at PHT, Mr. Cooper has been responsible for the technical implementation of each clinical trial and the core product software development process. Prior to joining PHT, he co-founded Beehive Software, and spent five years providing software consulting services for pharmaceutical manufacturers including Eli Lilly. Mr. Cooper has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science from Union College.
